Advising and representing clients in relation to various types of transactions regarding patented inventions, such as licensing or transfer agreements, as well as providing conclusions on matters relating to patents and their legal framework. We assist clients in defending their interests and rights in various litigation proceedings. For example, we assist customers in matters on declaring a patent invalid or defend clients, if claims concerning illegal use of a patented invention are brought against them. We provide information to clients about the latest changes in the regulatory framework.

RECENT EXPERIENCE

  • Representation of pharmacy companies in patent invalidation matters. E.g. recently we represented the plaintiff in litigation, where on 28 June 2011 the Riga Regional Court decided to satisfy the claim by declaring invalid the patent to the invention for production of the drug Viagra
