• Advised an integration of Merck and Schering-Plough Corporation . The office advised the global transaction regarding Latvian law matters, including M&A, employment, data protection and pharmacy.

• Defence of the Latvian state owned forest management company AS “Latvijas Valsts Mezi” against alleged abuse of the dominant position.

• Represented Estonian company "Alexela Oil" in the selling of it’s fuel filling stations in Latvia "Uno-X" to SIA "LR īpašumu aģentūra" controlled by Latvian and Lithuanian entrepreneurs.

• The office represented company "Bonnier Business Press" in the selling transaction of Latvian media group AS "Diena" and Latvian business daily "Dienas Bizness" to "Nedela S.A.".

• Provided a legal assistance to SIA „Baltic Multi Media” in the case, where Competition Council of Latvia adopted a decision to terminate the proceedings about the potential violation of prohibition to impose selling prices in the activities of the television wholesaler SIA „Baltic Multi Media”.

• Our law office represented the client in the proceedings before the Constitutional Court wherewith it was established that the legal norm on application of compulsory limitations to the lease amount , if an apartment house belonging to another person is located upon the land plot does not comply with the Constitution of the Republic of Latvia.

• The Office represented the Saeima (the parliament of Latvia) in the court proceedings, when the Constitutional Court has recognized that the Lisbon Treaty complies with the Satversme.
