Attorneys at Law Borenius – a full service business law firm – was established in June 2003 by merging the law offices of Lauris Liepa and Laine Skopina. Borenius is among Latvia’s leading law firms.
The law office of Lauris Liepa was cooperating with the Finnish law firm Borenius since 2000. As a result of this cooperation emerged an international network of business law firms: Borenius Group.
Today, Attorneys at Law Borenius in Riga employs 27 lawyers and 6 administrative staff.
Since July 2009 the law office has five partners: Lauris Liepa, Laine Skopina, Indrikis Liepa, Gatis Flinters and Ieva Azanda. Until 17 May 2011 the office name in Latvia was “Liepa, Skopina/ BORENIUS”.
Cooperation between the law offices of the Borenius Group is of major importance for the daily activities of the firm. The Group is represented in Latvia, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania, and employs over 200 lawyers providing professional legal services.
