Laine is Special Projects Officer of the Real Estate Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) LanguagesLatvian, English, Russian Laine advises both international and domestic clients as outside general counsel, providing them with legal advice on an ongoing basis. She has also worked on several major mergers and acquisitions in Latvia. Before joining Liepa Skopiņa Borenius, Laine gained experience as a Partner at one of the major Latvian law firms, and later established her own practice. She has also worked as Legislative Assistant to the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament (Saeima) of the Republic of Latvia and to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia.
