On 28 May Ieva Azanda, a lawyer from Attorneys at Law “Liepa, Skopina/ BORENIUS” since 2004, became sworn advocate. Ieva was assistant sworn advocate at the Latvian Bar Association from 2005.
In 2003 Ieva got a degree of Bachelor of Law (LL.B, Summa cum laude) in Concordia International University, Tallinn and in 2004 – Master of Laws (LL.M) with honours in Institute for Law and Finance, J.V. Goethe University, Germany. Since 2005 she has her PhD studies in University of Leicester, United Kingdom and lectures in University of Latvia, Riga Stradins University and in Riga Business school.
Ieva mainly specializes in competition as well as in Banking & Finance law. She also works in M&A, Legal Due Diligence and EU law.
