“Liepa, Skopina /BORENIUS” participates in Benchmarking study publication
The European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association released the third “Benchmarking European tax and legal environments” study. This survey enables comparisons to be drawn between tax and legal environments across 25 European countries, including Latvia, to the extent they affect the development of private equity and venture capital and encourage entrepreneurial activity.
The aim of the survey is to highlight national practices, and engender more efficient tax and legal frameworks across Europe, since fragmentation inhibits economic growth.
The Latvian section was drafted by the Latvian Guarantee Agency assisted by attorneys at law “Liepa, Skopina /BORENIUS”. At the same time, the data for Finnish and Estonian sections was collected with assistance Finnish and Estonian law firms of Borenius Group.
