Attorneys at law Liepa, Skopina /BORENIUS has become a member of the European Society for Banking and Financial Law (AEDBF-Association Europeenne pour le Droit Bancaire et Financier).
The AEDBF is a European association of professionals specializing in the legal aspects of banking, financial and capital market sector. The role of the AEDBF is to promote knowledge of national and EC law in the field of banking and finance and to strengthen the positions of the legal profession in the European financial area. The goals of the AEDBF are to strengthen links between its members, to co-ordinate their opinion and research, to maintain a dialogue with the EU institutions as well as to compare different laws and instruments in the fields of banking, finance and capital market so as to facilitate proposals for harmonization and mutual recognition.
The AEDBF was established in Paris in 1988 and since 2005 the presidency is held by Italy.
