This case study is based upon draws heavily from an article entitled “Case Study: The Out-of-Court Restructuring of a Latvian Bank,” which first appeared in Spring 2000 Edition of Law in Transition, the twice-yearly publication of the Office of the General Counsel at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”).
